Order in the court! QCS, Eastern Kentucky’s premiere esports organization, is hosting a fighting game tournament on May 13 at the historic Perry County Courthouse in Hazard, Kentucky. The event was originally scheduled for April 8, but the crew postponed the event to accommodate a larger crowd. The event will feature four popular fighting games: Super Smash Bros Ultimate, Tekken 7, Guilty Gear Strive, and Ultimate Marvel vs Capcom 3. Whether you’re a seasoned pro or a casual gamer, this tournament is your chance to showcase your skills and compete for glory, cash, and the coveted Appalachian Fighting Game Championship.

The tournament takes place in the old Perry County Courthouse on 481 Main St, Hazard, KY 41701, and marks the group’s return to Hazard after throwing a successful event in Lexington in March. There will be multiple gaming setups for competitive and casual play, streams on Raiser606 and queencitystreams, and plenty of seating for spectators. QCS has partnered with Trolli to provide attendees with gummy worms while supplies last. The downtown venue is within walking distance of several shops and businesses.

But this QCS tournament is more than just a competition. It’s an opportunity to connect with the gaming community in Perry County and beyond. You’ll meet fellow gamers, share tips and tricks, and learn from experienced players. You’ll also have the chance to network with plays, organizers, streamers, and other sports enthusiasts.

To participate in the QCS esports tournament, you need to register online. The venue fee is $10 per player if pre-registered online or $15 at the door. Smash and Strive are a $10 entry fee and Marvel and Tekken are $5 each. You can register as a spectator for $5.

In summary, the QCS esports tournament is a must-attend event for any gaming fan in Perry County and beyond. It offers a unique blend of competition, community, and fun, with great prizes and a supportive atmosphere. So, mark your calendar for April 8 and get ready to show your gaming skills to the world. We’ll see you at the Perry County Courthouse!
